The concept of textile dyeing and finishing auxiliaries

In the textile industry, in the various processing steps of spinning, spinning, weaving, printing and dyeing to finished products, different auxiliary chemicals are used according to the performance of various fibers to improve the quality of textiles, improve processing effects, improve production efficiency, and simplify. Process, reducing production costs and giving textiles various excellent application properties. This auxiliary chemical is commonly known as textile dyeing and finishing auxiliaries.

Dyeing and finishing auxiliaries are usually divided into three categories: printing and dyeing pretreatment agents, printing and dyeing auxiliaries, and finishing agents according to the steps and uses of dyeing and finishing processing.

    1. Printing and dyeing pretreatment agent

Printing and dyeing pre-treatment processes include fiber scorching, desizing, smelting, bleaching, mercerizing and other processing processes. Penetrants, emulsifiers, cleaning agents, and other surfactants need to be added. Organic sulfate, sulfonate, and polyoxyethylene Ether-based.

1.1 Penetrants, wetting agents The penetrants commonly used in the textile industry are sulfates of butyl ricinoleate and sodium salts of butylnaphthalenesulfonic acid. In neutral solutions, sodium dioctyl succinate has a particularly strong permeability; in addition to the above species in acidic solutions, fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ethers or alkylphenol polyoxyethylene ethers are commonly used; and in strong alkaline In solution, such as mercerization, shorter carbon chain sulfates such as octanol sulfate are used.

1.2 Emulsifier In the textile process, it is often necessary to oil because of the improvement of the lubricating properties of silk and yarn. However, before printing and dyeing, remove the oil to avoid affecting the dyeing. Therefore, emulsifiers must be added to these textile oils beforehand, or emulsifiers must be added to the cleaning bath to ensure the removal of oil spots. Generally, non-ionic surfactants are used.

1.3 Detergents, namely detergents and detergents, are used to remove oil stains on textiles. In the past, soap was mainly used. Now, various synthetic detergents and non-ionic surfactants are used, and oleic acid amide derivatives that are slightly more expensive are included. . In addition, there are enzymes used to promote starch hydrolysis during desizing; activators and anti-corrosive agents added during bleaching speed up the bleaching process and increase whiteness without corrosive equipment. At present, it has been developed to complete desizing, cooking and bleaching in one bath, and a new compounded powerful cleaning aid is used.
